Tax Credit Consulting: Tankless Heater Tax Credit Hayden ID

The tankless heater is pretty much what the name suggests. It is a water heater without a tank. It uses a lot of energy in short bursts to heat water running through pipes when you really need it.

What is a tankless heater? Well, go for a stroll around your house. You'll eventually find a device that looks like a small, but fat, missile of some sort. It is usually in the garage, but can be in a closet space if your architect was an idiot. Regardless, that is your water heater. It holds a lot of water as you can see. It constantly is popping on and off as it tries to keep that water at a set hot temperature. This is extremely inefficient and runs your utility bill up to say the least.

The tankless heater is pretty much what the name suggests. It is a water heater without a tank. It uses a lot of energy in short bursts to heat water running through pipes when you really need it. This is still a net energy savings, however, as you don't have the energy waste of a heat continually trying to keep a tank warm. Imagine how cold it gets in your garage and you can get a better idea of how often that heater is coming on.

The new approach makes sense in many ways. Getting people motivated to change to it is a bit more difficult. To give us a prod or two, Congress passed The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This is better known as the Stimulus Bill. This bill terminated the $300 tax credit that had been with us for years. Don't fret, it replaced it with something better....
